Offered here for your consideration is a fine, small scale antique Meissen porcelain miniature figurine.

Model no. 2748.

Originally designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler in the mid-18th century.

The figurine depicts a man in a tricorne hat reaching into his satchel for a loaf of bread.

Simply a great, rare piece of Meissen porcelain!

Late 19th or Early 20th Century

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Otherwise there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Marked to the base with a blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark for Meissen, an incised 2748, and an impressed 29.
