Up for sale is a vintage GTD (Greenfield Tap & Die) No. 0 adjustable tap wrench with the classic crown logo, made in the USA.
This is a genuine mid-century American machinist tool — likely 1950s era production — not a modern import. The GTD crown marking is crisp and clearly legible. Stamped “MADE IN U.S.A.” and “No. 0.”
Capacity: Closes down to approximately 1/16” square Opens to approximately 1/4” square (Perfect for small taps #0 through #10 and many 1/4” taps depending on shank size.)
Condition:
• Clean, crisp stampings • Jaw teeth are sharp and not rounded • No cracks, chips, or abuse • Honest light shop wear consistent with age
This is a solid, tight example that has not been heavily buffed or altered. Adjustment operates properly and jaws close evenly.
A great addition to any machinist’s drawer, restoration bench, or vintage tool collection.
