Unusual and Entertaining "Mid-19th Century Spoof Publication of a Fake "Company's Policy Booklet" - Hilarious!!." No publisher or publication date shown.
The purpose of this booklet is to spoof the many companies, which produced official Policy Booklets. The booklets were frequently published in a very profession manner, showing the executives and departments of the company. And they were intended to instill confidence in the people who did business with them.
The cover of this "Company Policy" Booklet is a heavy, tan paper, with white and black ruled lines around the borders. It measures approx. 10-1/4" by 7-3/4" (26.2 x 19.5 cm,) and contains 24 pages, including the covers.
The majority of the pages in the booklet describe benefits that "the un-named company" will provide to their potential customer. But the photos tell a different story. Most of the photos are from the early part of the 19th century. For example one page is entitled "Sales Staff" and shows a group of "scurvy pirates" in attack mode. It's all good clean fun and meant to be entertaining, while poking business policies booklets of the 1950's in the ribs.
The booklet is in good condition. It has some minor wear to the spine and edges. Nothing too noticable. But the interior pages are clean and in good shape with no writing, stains or tears.
Please see all of the photos above , to confirm the contents and condition of this booklet.
A hilarious and unique, "Mid-19th Century Spoof Publication of a Fake Company's "Policy Booklet" - Hilarious!!. It is sure to give you some belly laughs!
