Vintage Mohawk hand crank “eggbeater” drill marked:

MOHAWK
MADE IN U.S.A.
SHELBURNE

This is a solid mid-century example, likely dating from the late 1930s to early 1950s.

The drill operates smoothly with tight gears and no wobble. The main drive gear teeth are clean and fully intact. The chuck opens and closes properly and grips a bit securely (bit shown installed for demonstration). All three jaws are present and in good working condition.

The hardwood handles are original with a nice aged patina and no cracks. The red paint on the gear wheel shows honest wear from use but has not been repainted. No repairs or modifications observed.

Overall condition:
• Smooth mechanical operation
• Tight gears
• Working 3-jaw chuck
• No cracks in handles
• Original finish with expected wear

A great user tool or display piece for a vintage workshop collection.
