Designed with Shun’s signature layered stainless steel blades and traditional Japanese profiles, this set offers both practical performance and hard-to-replace designs no longer found in current production.
Serrated Utility Knife (DM-0755 lineage)
A compact serrated utility knife designed for slicing bread, tomatoes, citrus, and sandwiches. This earlier Shun utility profile differs from current production serrated models, offering a slimmer, more precise cutting feel.
Perfect Paring Knife (DM-0754 lineage)
A distinctive paring knife featuring a curved blade profile designed for enhanced peeling, trimming, and controlled detail work. This “Perfect Paring” design reflects an earlier Shun production model that has since been discontinued and is no longer part of Shun’s current catalog, making it difficult to source individually today.
Both knives feature Shun’s recognizable layered stainless steel construction paired with traditional dark wood handles, offering excellent balance, control, and refined cutting performance.
