JS Green Pea Steeping and Cooking Tablets - 160 Tablets per Tub
Specially formulated tablets that speed up soaking and cooking of dried green peas for brighter colour, more even texture, and quicker preparation. Ideal for Mushy Peas, Soups and Traditional Pea Dishes.
Directions for use:
STEEPING: Add 1 tablet to every 500g of peas, cover amply with boiling water, wait a full minute to allow the tablets to absorb water then stir and the tablet will dissolve. Leave to steep for at least 8 hours.
COOKING: Place the peas and 1 tablet for every 500g of peas, in boiling water and simmer gently for 20 minutes. As the tablets will cut down the cooking time care should be taken they are not overcooked. SIMMER DO NOT BOIL
