Area 51 is a warehouse discovery at Exit 51 — a meticulously preserved lifetime collection we’re honored to place into collectors’ hands.
This Challenger Model CHA-20 tube amplifier comes from a large estate of vintage electronics owned by a meticulous original collector. The amplifier was stored indoors for decades alongside professional audio gear, radios, tubes, and manuals. Challenger amplifiers are well regarded for their rugged build quality and versatility, making them popular candidates for restoration, studio use, mono hi-fi systems, or guitar amp conversions.
This unit includes microphone and phono inputs, bass and treble controls, and multiple speaker output options including 4, 8, 16 ohm and 70V (245Ω), with a rated output of 20 watts. The amplifier has not been tested and is offered in estate-found condition.
We always offer combined shipping, and invite you to browse our store for more vintage amplifiers, radios, tubes, and estate audio equipment.
