Notgeld is a form of emergency currency created by small cities, towns, and municipalities in Germany and Austria during the period following World War I.

This is a Reichsbanknote from 1923. It is for 1 Million Mark.  These are like tiny pieces of art. They would look beautiful framed. They are approximately 6 1/4" x 4 1/4” and in very good condition.
