This vintage International Sterling Silver-handled plastic fork and spoon salad serving set features a classic Rhapsody pattern with a mid-century modern style. I received these as a wedding gift in 1982 and they have been lightly used, but show signs of that use. I have not polished the handles. The markings are very hard to discern, but I tried to photograph them. Made in the United States, each item weighs approximately 3.4 ounces.

However, the price of this set is based on its value in the silver market. According to International Silver Co. information, the .925 sterling silver content of the handles could be as high as 2 ounces in each piece!! At today's scrap silver price of over $77, they could be worth a lot more than their purchase price. I'm just not willing to go through the hassle. They're heavy, but I don't know the actual amount of sterling silver.
