Worry Dolls and in Spanish Muñeca Quita Pena
Its origin was in Guatemala, but migrated to Mexico and other parts of the world as a Mayan tradition.
The tale: When either a child or an adult are worried and/or concerned about something, they are encouraged to tell the doll about it and then place it under their pillow when they go to sleeep. The doll then "absorbs" the person's worries and concerns, so when they wake up, they are worry - free.
In this colourful bag (they could come in a different colour to the picture) you will find 7 small dolls, one for each day of the week. They measured about 3 cm in lenght. The "tale" is also printed in a nice paper with colours at the back of the story.
They are good for either yourself or a small present / gift as a good gesture of hope. Don't miss this opportunity of having them.
