The Hornby R2569 is a limited edition "The Talisman" train pack in OO gauge (1:76 scale), featuring a British Railways (BR) 4-6-2 'Sandwich' A3 Class Locomotive and three BR Mk1 passenger coaches in maroon livery.

The Hornby R2569 is a detailed model railway set, part of a limited run of 2,500 units, each including a certificate of authentication. (0410/2500) included within.

This item is in excellent cosmetic condition throughout and ran perfectly on testing.

■  Locomotive:

It includes a BR 4-6-2 A3 Class locomotive with running number 60039 named "Sandwich" in BR lined green with a late crest livery.

■  Coaches:

The pack contains three BR Mk1 coaches in maroon livery, specifically one Brake Coach (E 35162) and two Composite Coaches (E 15692 and E 15693).

The set is DCC ready with an 8-pin socket, meaning it can be used on both analog (DC) layouts and easily converted to digital command control (DCC) using a compatible decoder.
