Das Originalfahrzeug KamAZ-4310C wurde auf Basis des Serien-LKW KamAZ-4310 für Rallye-Marathons entwickelt. Das Serienmodell wurde von 1981 bis 1989 produziert. Die Rallye-Version nahm 1989 an der "Objectif Sud" (Ziel Süd) Rallye teil und erreichte den dritten Platz.
