Made by Dave from YouTube's Crafted Channel. I own many Atlas lathes on which to test my parts. I have run plastic parts including my ABS gears since 2015. I can make big cuts never breaking any teeth or bushings.

Photo 1: The item you are buying. You get 1 bevel gear. This is the gear on the operators right hand side of the reverse gearbox case. You must stop the lathe fully before shifting. Not even the metal part will survive an animal at the controls. Think!
Photo 2: Example of 10" Model F lathe the part fits. Goes in the gearbox with vertical lever mounted under the headstock. The lead screw exits from the described gearbox. This Bevel gear fits on the operators right side of the gearbox and is engaged by the Shift Collar (slider) when moved to operators right to engage lead screw. LATHE NOT INCLUDED. EXAMPLE SHOWN FOR FIT IDENTIFICATION ONLY.
Photo 3: Example of Model D lathe the part fits. Goes in the gearbox with vertical lever mounted under the headstock. The lead screw exits from the described gearbox. I apologize for all the warnings. Even though I am clear, once every other month or so I get a person who thinks they are getting or are going to force me to send them a $1000 lathe or item in background, or other item used as prop or to show fit of my part. People don't read. Don't be that guy please.
If you use eBay's return system, then I cannot cross ship a correction or help you in any other way. The rules tie my hands preventing me from helping you. If there is a problem, contact me.
