Luma Bridge is the hardware device, empowered by the Hailo-8 Al processor, that enables our new Al surveillance platform: Luma Insights. Luma Insights leverages its platform to add AI capabilities like image recognition for people, vehicles, animals, and packages, to Luma X10 and X20 IP cameras, as well as the Control4 Chime Video Doorbell and DS2 Door Station. Surveillance-triggered events automatically send a notification, along with a snapshot of the event, to the customer’s mobile device, including a deep link for instant access to the video clip or camera livestream.
Insights also provide seven days of cloud storage for event-triggered snapshots and video clips, with cloud-based video playback accessible through Control4 touchscreens and apps. As we continue to enhance our AI platform, we anticipate new capabilities, and innovative surveillance features available through Insights.
The installation process is simple, using only OvrC® to configure and deploy directly into a Control4 OS 3.4+ system in just 3 or 4 steps, with no additional programming required. This makes it the perfect solution for professional installers seeking to offer their customers a cutting-edge security system for both new and existing setups.
