This newly modded Novelkeys Classic TKL is an approachable keyboard that has recently entered the custom TKL space. It’s a fun build, flexible enough to play around with different switches and plates, and an excellent option if you want a larger layout without diving straight into the deep end of the much pricier end of the enthusiast keyboard pool!
It was designed by the extremely talented Nephlock (Riley Onyon), a prominent mechanical keyboard designer and graphic designer based in Utah, known for designing custom keycap sets and keyboards. We keyboard enthusiasts love this genius!
This model of board gives off retro-inspired TKL vibes, with a taller forehead and badge. However, under the hood it boasts a hot-swap PCB, gasket mounting, and offers full VIA support, (which basically means; it is easy to tweak and experiment with, if you’re into that kind of thing.)
Personally, I love trying different switches in my boards and I change keycaps as frequently as I change my…toothbrush head? ⌨️😎⌨️
