About us: A Small businesses with a social mission

Glos Bike Project
Glos Bike Project is a Social Enterprise that creates opportunities through bikes. We do this in a number of ways, from working with disaffected young people, training them in bike maintenance and repairs to providing  free refurbished bikes for  young people in care. We create volunteering opportunities for people who are struggling with mental health issues, or who are lonely and isolated. During the pandemic, we donated 100s of bikes, lights, locks and  helmets to NHS and other Key Workers who were struggling with transport, or just to use to  get some valuable down time. Plus we deliver lots of other grass roots cycling projects throughout the year.
Every purchase you make with us helps us do this and contributes directly to enable us to provide free  bikes and training for someone who needs the support. So, thanks for shopping with  us. Your purchase makes a difference. Like so many other inspirational sellers, you can support their cause through eBay for Change.
What is eBay for Change?
We have have partnered with Social Enterprise UK and the World Fair Trade Organisation to develop eBay for Change; a programme designed to support the growth of the social enterprise sector. Every purchase from an eBay for Change social enterprise will have a direct positive impact on supporting disadvantaged communities, whether that is providing job or training opportunities to people who are distant from the labour market, tackling social problems like homelessness and exclusion, or improving people's life chances, or supporting environmental action.
