Tall narrow octavo, 9-3/4 inches high by 5-1/8 inches wide. Softcover, bound with a thin cord in color pictorial cream wraps, with a color illustration of a red rose on the front cover. The overlapping corners of the covers are bumped with minor chipping to the head & tail of the spine and a small tear to the bottom edge of the front cover. 62 & [2] deckle-edged pages, with the text printed within rose colored floral decorations by R.R. Osgood. There is a tiny tear to the bottom edge of the title page. Very good.

Laid in at the front is a bookmark stating this is a "Complimentary Copy / Roses & Thorns / Presented by Canadian Union Meeting Committee St. Thomas, Ontario to Visiting Members 1921".
