Large handmade live edge chopping board made from a slab of local kiln dried Beech. The bark has been removed to give a gorgeous rustic board.

The board measures 50cm x 36cm and has thickness of 4.5cm

The board has been cut, sanded in stages and finished with mineral oil to keep it sealed.

Black rubber feet have been added to the board to aid in movement and provide protection to the worktop.

This would make a lovely present for an anniversary, christmas, wedding present etc for any want to be chefs or just that special person!

Care instructions:

As this is a natural wooden product there is a small level of care required. Please dont submerge the board in water or put in a dishwasher as this could lead to bowing or cracking of the board.

Cleaning should be done with an
antibacterial spray or wiping with a damp cloth.
Over time as the board is used it will start to naturally dry out, mineral oil, chopping board oil/conditioner etc should be used to preserve the board and keep it fresh. This should be done every few weeks/months depending on use.
