' 6th Show ' from the Grateful Dead Europe '72 Tour on April 17, 1972 ( 4/17/72 ) at the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark !  And as you might already well-expect - considering the Time & Era of Grateful Dead Music we are talking about here ... the Band is Red-Hot ! - and Simply-Awesome !! straight out of the gate & early ! for this Monumental " Europe '72 " Tour !  Seven ( 7 ) Shows were played at the Academy of Music in New York City in Late-March ( 3/21-28/72 ), and if you have heard pieces, parts or all of that magnificent run - then you already know how " effective " that NYC run was as the ideal " Tour Warm-Up " for this Big-Time Europe '72 stretch that was right around the corner.  Europe '72 kicked off at Wembley Empire Pool in London, England on 4/7/72, as part of a two-night stand.  The 2nd tour-stop also took place in England ( Newcastle upon Tyne ) at the City Hall !  Then onto the Tivoli Concert Hall ( for Tour-Stop #1 ! ) - then to ... Stakladen ! at Aarhus University - in Aarhus, Denmark ... and then, straight from Stakladen -- " right-back " to Here ! >>> at the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark !!! -- Again ! -- which, is captured right-here ( 4/17/72 ! ) in All ! of its Live-Music Glory ! on this Amazing 3-CD digitally mastered Set !!!  And then on from Denmark - ( after three ( 3 ) Denmark Shows ! ) ... there were 16 More Shows ( 22 in Total ) stretching from Bremen ( Germany ), to Dusseldorf ( W. Germany ), to Frankfurt ( 100 Year Hall ! ), to Hamburg, to Paris, to the Bickershaw Festival ( Wigan, England ), to Amsterdam, to Rotterdam, to France, to Luxembourg, to Munich, and back to London for a final 4-night stand at the Lyceum !  Europe '72 !!!  G.D. Live-Legend ! here fellow-Fans !!  And ... as you may, or may-not already know -- this 4/17/72 Tivoli Concert Hall Show in Denmark is indeed one of the very-few Shows from the entire Europe '72 Tour - where Live Video Footage ! of the Show actually exists !?! ... and, has even been Digitally-preserved !  Yes indeed, as the very-1st ! time that I actually saw the ' available ' footage from this Show ... it was in the digital-format -- on DVD !  Only a short-portion, naturally ... 10 or so Songs, maybe ?  But ... my oh my -- as there is some serious Pigpen ! on there - which, naturally is Always ! a nice-treat for the " Good Ol' " G.D. Fan !!  And too ... the Blistering ! China > Rider !!! is on there too - and Wow !?! on that notion ... seeing close-up Action ! of Garcia man-handling the Fender Strat !  What a treasure that is, for certain ... but - ever Rose always has its thorn, as the segment is short.  Whereas here, on this 3-CD Set ?  Yep, you guessed it ... All! 23-Tracks ! ... on Three ( 3 ) Full! CD's !!!  Including naturally, not only the Playin' > Sugaree ( which I love ! ) -- but also ... the Dark Star > Sugar Magnolia > Caution ! > ... into Johnny B. Goode !  Pure !! 1972 Grateful Dead Smoke ! on this-one Fans ... as it is indeed a Dandy !  I've listened to this entire set close to 4 times now, since its 2010 delivery - and, I have to say ... this 4/17/72 Copenhagen Show is one that I have reached for early & often ... and above and beyond !!  One of the Absolute-Best ! from this Tour, at least to my ears ... as the Energy is just full on Blissful ! all-throughout this Stellar ! G.D. Show.  One listen, if you have yet to hear it ... and I'm guessing that you-too ! will be hooked on this one, just like me !  Hey Now !!! ... & Enjoy !!!!!
