This is a genuine antique (c.1890) Japanese woodblock print pair sourced from Hobun Gafu by Kikuchi Hobun.

Hobun Gafu ("Hobun's Painting Album") was a compilation of woodblock prints by Kikuchi Hobun, who was a celebrated artist known for his studies of animals and nature.

Kikuchi Hoburn (1862-1918) was born in Osaka and studied under Kono Bairei 

This is a genuine antique print pair from the period stated, and not a later reproduction of any kind. As such, they may show wear/ageing to the paper and have marks/stains or other imperfections - please have a good look at the photos to determine the exact condition.

Overall, the prints are in a very presentable overall condition for over 130 years of age and are ready for framing.
