You have never seen anything like this - describing it as MINT is almost an insult!

A one owner car for sixty years. I bought this myself in South East London in mid 1965. I was just twenty - just a couple of months before we emigrated to Australia.  The car is exactly as it looked leaving the factory - not a mark on it - have a look at that baseplate (Image four). The original E2 box is equally mint - it may look like there's a dent at its base in that sixth image - there isn't, be assured.
All flaps are intact and totally viable.

Except perhaps for the Ferrari Berlinetta I sold last year, I have never seen a matchbox car in so perfect a condition - so, if you're wondering why it's the price it is - take my word for it - it's worth it! The reason of course why it is in this untouched state is because since the day I bought it, it has only been on display in a variety of glass cases (as per that last image). How many one-owner for sixty years matchbox cars are you likely to see here on eBay?
