Application process
The cleaner the surface, the longer the seal will last. The application surface should be as smooth as possible. We always recommend our customers make sure they have cleaned the application surface, ensuring that it is free of any oils, dust, and debris. If the surface is completely clean the seal might last longer and it fits perfectly. Our product comes with a 3M Surface Cleaner Sachet (a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water or heptane). Please do not use it to clean the surface as it needs to be uséd right before the application on a clean surface to obtain optimum adhesion.
