VIETNAM WAR VF-96 Fighting Falcons Squadron - USS Constellation Centurion Patch - LT Randy Cunningham Leather Wings-Nametag

This is a Squadron Issued Set of G-1 Flight Jacket Insignia for the NAS Miramar Stationed VF-96 Fighting Falcons Squadron. During the 1972 USS Constellation Vietnam Combat Cruise, LT Randy Cunningham shot down 5 North Vietnamese Airforce MIG-19s, to become the only Naval Aviator Ace of the entire Vietnam War. LT Randy Cunningham eventually taught Air-to-Air Combat at the US Navy Top Gun School at NAS Miramar. The VF-96 Squadron Patch is fully embroidered with a cut edge border, a Swallow Tail Scroll on the bottom with "Fighting 96" in black letters. The Wings / Nametag is the standard Gold embossed Wings & Name on Black Leather 4" x 2" patch. The USS Constellation CV-64 Centurion 100 Landings Patch was embroidered with cut edge in a Guam, Philippines Taylor Shop and is very rare. To collect this set of patches could take you years.
