Vintage THIERRY MUGLER Size 6 /Small Red Angora/Alpaca Shawl-Hooded Belted 

Coat, made in France. Coat is roughly knee-length and fully-lined with shiny red silk acetate.

It has an off-center cut shawl-like hood which can be worn up, down or fashioned into

a shawl/scarf as shown. It has 2 exterior pockets, a single snap closure at the waist area

and is belted with a single wide belt loop at the back of the waist. Belt is included in the 

sale however please note the belt is not original to the coat. New owner may decide to

change out the belt giving the coat a different look. As for condition, it is vintage and 

pre-owned and as such it shows typical signs of previous use and age one might 

expect. The only real issue found are several small surface "moth-bites" as shown 

in the last 2 photos which are largely unnoticeable when coat is worn.

Otherwise I see no rips, tears, stains or holes.

Made in France, it is marked size 36 which according to most online sources is a

US size 6. Based on the mannequin fitting and the measurements, it does seem to be

a true size 6 or "small". However  please also refer to the following measurements

 and compare to your best fitting coat. All measurements are in inches and taken 

while coat is lying flat and snapped closed at the front.

Total length as measured from neckline to bottom of coat: 40"

Shoulder to shoulder: 22"  Bust: 34"  Waist at snap: 30" Hips: Flared

Sleeve length as measured from shoulder seam to cuff: 24"
