About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Fender to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the pickguard and the back plate.  It was examined by factory authorized technicians, there were no issues found.  When we polished the guitar we did not find any finish blemishes, dings or cracks.

Here is what Fender says about the Player II Telecaster:

The Fender Player II Telecaster provides pure, powerful Fender tone in an innovative package. With a chambered ash body and custom pickups, this guitar delivers articulate sound with a modern edge that works for any style. The comfortable maple neck and 9.5" radius maple fingerboard make expressive playing effortless.

The chambered ash body provides resonance and sustain unlike a typical solid ash Telecaster. Ash is a traditional Fender tonewood and chambering it helps the wood vibrate more freely. You'll experience fuller tone with singing sustain that rings out until faded. The chambered design also makes this Telecaster lighter and more comfortable.

The Player II Telecaster's maple neck and fingerboard feel slick and fast under your fingers. The neck's modern C shape offers an easy grip for all playing styles. 22 medium-jumbo frets extend along the 9.5" radius fingerboard, providing plenty of room for bends and chords. Overall, the neck design ensures effortless transitions across the fingerboard.

The Player II Telecaster's custom single-coil pickups produce authentic Fender tone with enhanced clarity and punch. Crisp and articulate, these pickups handle everything from country twang to rock crunch with ease. A 3-way selector switch lets you access a variety of pickup combinations to suit any song or solo.

Bent-steel saddles on the string-through-body bridge improve intonation and help your tone cut through the mix. Master volume and tone controls shape your sound, while a 3-way pickup switch provides quick selection. With a synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree and sealed tuners, the Player II Telecaster also delivers exceptional tuning stability and playability.

The guitar weights 5.7 pounds.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.  Per agreement with Fender the last two digits of the stamped serial number were removed, as sticker with the serial number is placed over the stamped number, and a small used stamp is at the tip of the back of the headstock.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.
