S1 Rally 48426

This model S1 Rally Tonneau takes appearance to a whole new level. The colour combination and the way this model has been finished is nothing short of stunning.

This is quite a large timepiece at 48mm wide, (not including crown). It measures 60mm from lug to lug. The dial is multilayered, the centre segment finished in silver with a raised circle and three semi circles finished in metallic blue providing boarders for the chronograph dials registering elapsed seconds and accumulated minutes of the Seiko VD53 quartz engine. The third sub dial in the 3 o’clock position counts down the 24hr day night clock.

Large hour and minute hands have been finished in silver, infilled with orange. The main sweep seconds hand has also been finished in orange. A Tachymeter scale has been printed in black around the outer edge of dial which is finished in silver. A 12mm dia crown is found in the 3 o’clock position flanked by two cylindrical chronograph pushers.

On the left side of the case can be found a screw down expanded mesh panel in silver. The silver crown and pushers together with the expanded panel have been finished in high polish which matches the polished silver case finish. A tapered screw down back plate has been crosshatched on its outer profiles bringing together a case integrity which allows for up to 100 metres of water resistance which is a rarity for a tonneau shaped timepiece.

A double layered black Italian leather two piece strap with bright orange cross hatch and border stitching brings together the colour matching of the dial and strap beautifully. The colour combinations of the dial’s metallic blue, silver and orange together with the orange on black accented strap is unusual to say the least, however the colours work exceptionally well together.

This is one of the nicest looking timepieces I have seen in a while. The attention to detail and colour finishes are second to none. It is a large piece but sits comfortably on my 7.5 inch wrist. I have stock of this piece in very limited quantities. Timepieces come with plastics attached and paperwork in an Invicta presentation case and will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige
