9-card reprint lot from the 1906 Fan Craze National League set (WG3). These reprint cards are identical in appearance to the original except for the word “REPRINT” in small font on the back of the card. This lot features nine players from various teams, including four Hall of Famers!! Included are:

Hugh Duffy (Philadelphia Phillies) – HOF

Charley Dooin (Philadelphia Phillies)

Joseph Kelley (Cincinnati Reds) – HOF

Orville Overall (Cincinnati Reds)

The original set was produced by the Fan Craze Company of Cincinnati. In addition to featuring a photo of a player, some cards also included a game action such as “Single”, “Ball”, “Strike”, etc. enabling collectors to play a simulated game. Both the original and reprint sets measure the same as today’s standard cards (2-1/2” x 3-1/2”). The National League set has a red back and consists of 54 cards. There is also a corresponding American League set (WG2) with a blue back that contains 51 cards.
