Lovely vintage trio by iconic English Factory, Alfred Meakin Ltd. Circa 1914 - 1945. Lovely, classic Bleu De Roi pattern featuring the iconic, cwa w.a logo on all three pieces. These logos are strong and bold ! As are the dark blue edge bands on the pieces, which define this famous pattern. The cup is ' coffee can,' style with stylish handle. The saucer is quite deep and the entre plate is standard. The upper rim and cup handle gilding is naturally worn in places, given their age. Quite a rare item of cwa memorabilia which will be an awesome addition to any cwa collection ! Or any A. Meakin Bleu De Roi collection. Side plate size and weight - 17 cms x 1 cm 158 grams. Saucer 14.s cms x 2.5 cms 152 grams. Cup 10.5 cms to edge of handle. 7.8 cms Height. 166 grams.

A couple of very small normal, age related glaze marks to the inner saucer cup depression. Normal missing glaze on base of cup. Unglazed kiln stand marks on base of saucer. A single dark glaze pinhead inside the cup.
