Payment
Payment is expected within 24 hours after the auction has ended. I have had a wave of buyers lately who purchase an item and want to wait for weeks to pay. All payment extensions must be approved prior to bidding.
I am always happy to combine shipping on items that close on the same day. Please let me know that you are bidding on additional items and I will send you a combined invoice. eBay requires I ship within 24 hours of payment, so in order to combine shipping, items must be purchased the same day.
Shipping
PLEASE NOTE: Any item listed as having been an open package, closeout lot, bulk lot, or pre-owned is sold AS IS and can not be returned. Many times, I will sell kits that have been opened and resealed with tape. I will list all the details as I see them from the package, but there still may be an item (such as a needle) missing, that I just can not see. So please remember, if an item is sold as open, or pre-owned, it is sold AS IS.
Your item will ship within one day of receipt of payment. If payment is received before 10:00 a.m. Eastern, your package will ship the same day (provided it is a mailing day), after 10:00 a.m., it will ship the next morning.
I am always happy to combine shipping! Occasionally, I will sell pre-packaged lots where I will not be able to offer combined shipping, but that will always be noted in the auction.
I ship using eBays shipping service and your tracking number will automatically be uploaded when the label is printed. The tracking number will be available for you to view and track your item in the purchases section of your eBay account.
Why Does it Cost So Much To Ship Your Package???
Lately, I have had several people ask me why shipping is so expensive and I spend time and answer each one with the following long response. I thought I would add it here and it would answer the question up front to save time.
Most of what I sell is in the craft/needlework categories. The average item price is anywhere from $4.99-$29.99. Yes, there are higher priced items but most are within that range. Most weigh 4 oz. - 14 oz.
I ship my items using eBay shipping. I do not charge a handling fee for packaging, so this is an expense I absorb, and that expense is anywhere from $.50 per item to $1.33 per item, depending on the item. eBay requires that items shipped in this category ship at the "package" rate. The most cost effective rate is generally USPS Ground Advantage. Which can average anywhere from $4.50-$9.00 dependent on where you are located compared to my shop in East Tennessee. In the fall, the USPS starts charging a "surcharge" on all "packages". That adds a minimum of $.40 per package and can go all the way up to $3.00 depending on package size. So now you are looking at a MINIMUM package cost of $4.90. Now tack on eBay's fee, yes they charge a percentage on postage too. The fees are calculated based on the total cost of the sale, handling (which I don't charge) and shipping (which is calculated by weight and the USPS). The average percentage I pay for the categories in which I sell is 12.97%. So now that minimum shipping price is approximately $5.25, and that's if you live relatively near to me. So... bottom line is your $4.99 item, if it were shipped for free, will cost me about $3.00 to sell to you. Doesn't sound like solid business sense, does it? That's why I can not ship for free. The sellers that do are making it up someplace else, losing money on purpose or packing fees on to another area. I don't know how they do it, I just want to be open and transparent about how I do it.
Choosing to purchase from my shop is completely up to you, I hope you do and want to earn your business. I just want you to understand everything about that purchase.
Something else I should mention, that seems to come up more and more these days. I can not control the USPS, FedEx or UPS. I will get your package to the carrier safely and on time. If the carrier decides to route your package around the country before it makes it to you, I can not control that. I can not make the carrier send your package through the most direct route and I don't pretend to know how they decide which way it goes. I just know, it has been my experience that even with the rising cost of postage, the U.S. Postal Service tends to be the least expensive, and most reliable from my shop in Tennessee. Please don't be hateful with me, I want you to get your package on time, believe me! If they don't get your package to you, I have to refund your purchase and that's never good for business.

Returns are accepted and can be processed directly through eBay. Any item returned must be returned in the condition in which it was received. Items must be returned within 14 days of the date of delivery (per delivery confirmation).
My home is smoke free. Most of my items are purchased from auctions and estate sales. I try very hard not to purchase anything that smells (I'm the crazy lady you see smelling things at auctions...lol). If I feel an item has any kind of odor at all, I will state that in the auction.
My home is NOT pet free. I have a wonderful, beautiful, very hairy German Shepherd and three... yes three... cats. They are not allowed in my eBay room, but their hair has a tendency to "float" everywhere. If you have a severe allergy, please don't take the chance.
