Authentic 1964 New York World’s Fair license plate with the original 1965 red registration sticker still attached. Features raised yellow numbers and lettering on a black background with “NY WORLD’S FAIR 64” embossed along the bottom.

This plate shows genuine vintage wear and patina from age and use, including some surface rust and paint loss near the mounting holes (see photos for details). Numbers and lettering remain clear and readable.

Original 1964 issue with red 1965 validation sticker (the 1965 New York registration renewal sticker was issued to extend the use of the 1964 “NY World’s Fair” plate for another year.  Instead of reissuing all-new plates, the DMV gave motorists red 1965 validation stickers to place on the right-hand side — just like this one. It represents the full 1964–65 World’s Fair period, making it historically complete.
