This PCIe Marvell SATA 6Gbps 2-port RAID array expansion card features two SATA GEN III 6Gb/s channel host controllers for 2.5-inch full-size SSDs/HDDs, bringing server-grade functionality to desktop computers. It works seamlessly with new, high-speed 6Gb/s hard drives while offering backward compatibility with older SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s drives, enhancing system performance for all types of computer users.
Each PCI-Express 2.0 lane delivers up to 500MB/S throughput. With RAID capabilities, SATA drives connected to this controller can be easily configured in three ways: as 2 independent ports (no RAID), or with RAID 0, RAID 1, and HyperDuo modes.
