This Ballast spreader is designed to be used for one or many different grades of ballast for OO/HO track and additionally Med/Fine Ballast for N gauge. The plates on the bottom determining the rate of flow of the ballast are interchangeable.

Four Types of base plate are supplied with the Spreader

For HO/OO there are three plates, FINE, for fine ballast, MEDium for medium ballast and BIG for (you guessed it) big Ballast. 
For HOe/N/OO9 there is one plate for Medium/Fine Ballast on 9mm gauge Track

This is a brand new product for me and although I have designed, made and tested it myself it is still in development so I would welcome any feedback or requests for other bottom plates.
