Original Animation Drawing from the Walt Disney Studios. This piece was used in the production of the 1952 short, Two Gun Goofy.
In the opening scene, just after the townspeople scatter, this very image of Pistol Pete shooting his guns on horseback appears. He parks his horse, robs the bank but then runs into future Sheriff Goofy and hilarity ensues.
The animation art for the film was credited to John Sibley, Wolfgang Reitherman, Ed Aardal and Hugh Fraser.
