6 - 45 Long Colt snap caps

This auction is for a set of 6 - 45 Long Colt Snap Caps.  These are capped with lead RN. 

These snap caps contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber.   They cannot fire, nor can they ever be made to fire.  

Unlike plastic or one-piece metal snap caps, these brass snap caps look like they should.  The brass brands used may vary from those in the pictures.    You can visually tell they are snap caps, as the primer pocket is plugged with a red polymer.  This polymer will cushion the firing pin of your revolver and will last hundreds of strikes.

If you have an 1858 Remington conversion, your firing pins may be a bit rough, and long and could stick in the polymer and pull the plugs out, we learned this from a customer.   

Shipping is a flat $4.50 for 1 set and $1.00 for each additional set, up to $8.50 maximum shipping for all sets.  Shipping may be combined with my other auctions.  If eBay charges you more than $8.50 at checkout, I will refund the shipping charge over $8.50.

Please note, if these snap caps are ejected onto a hard surface, such as concrete, they will be damaged or ruined. If ejected onto the floor, use a carpeted surface to cushion them.
