Here’s an original watercolour and pen-and-ink sketch by British artist Nina Carroll (1932–1990).
The artwork depicts the interior of the Buttermarket beneath the Windsor Guildhall (Town Hall), a famous Berkshire landmark known for its historic columns.
The original sheet features the artist's own hand-written identification on the back: "Windsor Town hall" and "buttermarket. Windsor,"
It has been made using watercolour over pen and ink on sketchbook paper. It is unframed and unmounted, and sold as a sheet of original artwork. The paper shows marks consistent with being removed from a sketchbook.
Dimensions: Approximately 50 cm by 40 cm
