This book is a collection of stories - Wisconsin history for this particular area - Sterling Township - Polk County - northwestern Wisconsin. May be of value to those seeking genealogy info of this area. Much on logging - that is what brought settlement to much of northern Wisconsin. I must say - as far as local history goes - at least they tried. But they knew little on how to publish a book - no real title page - no Table of Contents - no Index. Oh well - it is what it is.
