Vogue Cover book edited by Robin Derric and Robin Muir comment thus on this cover: One of the most unusual copies of the fifties seemed to uphold the common belief held mostly by men, that women revere shoes more than anything else. In this case the object of veneration is a topaz evening pump with gold kid lining.

CONDITION:
This vintage magazine is in remarkably good condition. The font cover is smooth and clean and unmarked, there is light wear on the edges and corners shown in close-up photos. The internal pages are flat and tight and all present. The spine is white and complete. It is extraordinary that an issue of over 70 years old should be so fresh.

Check-out the scan of the cover, it is the magazine on offer not a stock photograph. STILL IN VOGUE has a policy of honesty in the description of the vintage and used magazines we sell. This may work against us in that we draw attention to damage and it sounds much worse than it is. Not all vintage magazine sellers offer individual condition reports so one is left to assume their magazines are all in mint condition. We hope however that you, the buyer, appreciate that we want to supply you with goods that will match or exceed your expectations and not dash them.
