ARGO Transcord Recording, The ‘W.D.s’ 7” vinyl, EAF141 (Mono)

You are bidding on a 1968 7” vinyl recording of ‘W.D.’ class 2-8-0 and 2-10-0 ‘austerity’ engines: at Abergavenny Junction, Durham, Stoke Tunnel, Beattock Bank, Standedge Tunnel and Marsden during 1957, 19587 and 1959.

Side 1:

‘W.D.’ 2-8-0 at Abergavenny Junction with ‘7200’ class 2-8-2.T. banking engine.  ‘Q.6.’ 0-8-0 and ‘W.D.’ 2-8-0 at Durham.

Side 2:

‘W.D.’ 2-8-0 at Stoke Tunnel.  ‘W.D.’ 2-10-0 on Beattock Bank.  ‘W.D.’ 2-8-0.s. at Standedge Tunnel and at Marsden.

Condition:

Based on observation: The vinyl is Excellent/Nr Mint (both sides) and the centre label (both sides) looks to be Near Mint with no wear at all around the centre hole as one would expect if hardly played.  The vinyl is housed in its original plastic sleeve, many of which go missing, and is fully intact.  The sleeve is Near Mint, no rips, tears or sticker marks, showing very light signs of edging where the disc has been taken in and out if its sleeve.  Otherwise, this is probably as near to a Mint copy you will get for an item that is getting on for 60 years old.
