There is a lot to like about this model Grand Diver Reserve. For starters it is the rounded case version. By rounded case I mean the sides of the casework have been beautifully radiused into a curve. Along with a case thickness of on 13mm this allows this model to be worn beneath cuffs or long sleeves. For a 52mm timepiece this model wears much smaller.

This model also utilises Invicta’s patented screw out crown assembly. When screwed outwards from the lock down position the head of the crown extends exposing an inner red metallic sleeve which alerts the user to the fact that the crown is in the operational position. When returned to the lock down position the red warning sleeve is out of sight, contained within the crown. In lockdown position and utilising superior case construction and a screw down back this Grand Diver achieves a water resistance rating of up to 300 metres.

The 33mm dia dial has been finished in black mother of pearl, contrasting beautifully with five minute indices finished in white lume and outlined in gold. Large hour and minute hands are skeletonised gold, tipped in white lume. The main sweep seconds hand has also been finished in gold. The Swiss Made Ronda calibre 515 three hand quartz movement supports hour minutes and seconds along with a magnified date window at the 3 o’clock position on the dial.

The unidirectional bezel has a very solid mechanical rotation with zero backlash. The horizontal surface of the bezel is finished in rose gold with raised five minute dive indices finished in silver. The outer edge of the bezel has a machined coin edge grip to assist in the setting of dive times.

The solid stainless bracelet is a three link design with polished centre links. Solid machined stainless end links provide for a seamless transition from case to bracelet. A solid machined stainless steel over centre deployment clasp with micro adjustment completes what is a well executed everyday time keeping companion.

This model Grand Diver is part of the Reserve Collection resulting in impeccable fit and finish along with the utilisation of a Swiss pedigree movement. The “A” grade mother of Pearl dial is gorgeous reflecting hues of grey, green, purple and red dependant upon light angles.

Watch is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes in an Invicta presentation case with paperwork and will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed. 

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers. 

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
