Here is a used Aftermarket Pickguard & Truss Rod Cover For a RICKENBACKER Bass, Black Carbon Fiber, not sure if it's for a 4001 or 4003, or both, was in a small box of parts, 1 ply, mounting holes are not countersunk, it had a DiMarzio DP120BK pickup in the neck position, notice there is a small area of damage on the side of the pickup hole in the guard, it would be covered up once that pickup was installed, pickguard shows light wear, whether the mounting holes in this guard will match up to the ones on the body you want to put it on is unknown, they may or may not so please keep that in mind before buying, buyer pays $10 shipping in the lower 48.
