LNER 21t Trestle Wagon - OO unpainted plastic kit

The LNER trestle wagon is essentially a development of the standard plate wagon. It allows plates too wide to be loaded flat to be carried safely. In practise the trestles could be removed and refitted as required to meet traffic fluctuations. Because of large loads these wagons ran on the main lines between steelmills and shipyards and fabrication works.

This finely moulded plastic wagon kit comes complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.

Comes with metal wheels. Coupling required.
