Description: Paperback. Probably a 1902 printing, as the article is dated December 1901. Printed wraps, 89 pp, phototype frontispiece, very good with inscription from author but not signed, with stamp underneath, 'vom Verfasser.' and title handwritten on front wrap. Kussmaul was regarded as one of the leading phyicians of his time. Fun fact: some people think he invented the term Biedermeier to refer to the middle class early 19th century sensibility that influenced style, design, furniture and more. No copies of this offprint in institutions, but there should be the journal in several libraries. Very Good.
