You are buying a Rare Vintage 1917 Dayton Porcelain Platform Scale. It measures 24" tall, 19-1/2" wide and is 22" deep. The scale is very heavy and for this reason I offer several shipping options --free pick up near Robinson, KS is always encouraged on larger-heavier items such as this is. This is Dayton Scale's Style 4580 non-electric with a automatic compensation device, a 24lb capacity scales serial #983148 and two (2) patents; one in 1913 and another in 1917. (see photos) This 100+ year-old scales is in VERY GOOD++ to EXCELLENT CONDITION to include the porcelain finish. PLEASE VIEW ALL 16 PHOTOS of this scales as they constitute an integral part of this listing's description. This is a very accurate scales and with the heavy glass platform shelf it reads EXACTLY "0" OZS. -- no calibration needed!! (see photo) , so as it sits for sale in my eBay store, it is not in need of any calibration. Comes to you out of extended storage in from a PET-FREE and SMOKE-FREE environment.
