For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Aretha Franklin titled "You're All I Need To Get By b/w Pullin'", originally released in 1971 by Atlantic Records. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. On the label after the matrices, is a "SP" suffix, and in the dead wax, between the labels and the beginning of the tracks, is etched "AT" and "DK", followed by the matrix numbers A-2/B-3, indicating that the record was mastered at Atlantic Studios of New York City, N.Y. by Dennis King before it was made at Specialty Records Pressing Corporation's pressing plant located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Good Plus because of sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Good Plus because of pops and surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Specialty first pressing.
