This early vintage Texaco padlock has the TEXACO in a hexagon logo (used circa 1963-1981) on one side, and BEST logo on the other.

The body is brass as well as the shackle & core. 

Approximate measurements:

body only approx. 1 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" tall

inside shackle height when locked is approx. 7/8"   SEE PHOTOS

2 keys (J9) (brass core unlikely its original mate as they were changed/swapped often when in use, but it is a genuine BEST)

Green enameling still seen in Texaco and Best logos

Comes from the collection of a 35+yr Texaco refinery employee (1950s-1990s)
