Here's an old wind up 17 jewels Bulla watch from probably around early 50's? It's running but doesn't keep the greatest time.  As with a LOT of other old mechanical watches, they can have a hiccup and stop about any old time.  As I write this, the watch has been running about  20+ hours now, but I wouldn't trust it as my primary watch. 
     Cosmetically, it shows some case wear on the 9 o'clock side as you can see. Crystal looks fine. There's one segment cap missing from the expandable bracelet.
