The module uses the MAX30205 body temperature sensor to accurately measure body temperature and provide an over-temperature alarm/interrupt/shutdown output, converting the temperature measurement data to digital form using a high resolution delta-integral analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Communication is via an I2C-compatible 2-wire serial interface which accepts standard write byte, read byte, send byte and receive byte commands to read temperature data and configure the behaviour of the open-drain over-temperature shutdown output.The MAX30205 has a latch-protected I2C-compatible interface suitable for use in wearable fitness and medical applications.

Default I2C address: 0x48OS over-temperature shutdown output pin description: When the MAX30205 sensor temperature is below 80°C (excluding 80°C), the OS outputs high at around 3.2V; when the MAX30205 sensor temperature is at or above 80°C, the OS outputs low at 0V.
Open the test program of max30205demo.ino in the material, after successful upload, open the serial monitor, baud rate 9600, put your finger on the chip of the module, you can see the window read out the temperature will rise
