Issued in 1945 in small quantities, this extremely rare Parka coat, officially called: Overcoat, Parka Type, Extreme Cold Coat by the US Marine Corps saw service in late WWII and in China and Korea as well as in other not-so-publicized areas.

An excellent example of the early pattern parka. Tags (green type) are there but washed clean. One cracked button, oil stain on arm, zipper works well, some loss of thread on bottom. No rips or sewn patches. XL size! Very nice and healthy looking piece. See photos for more details.
