It features a 1000 watt power handling capability, making it suitable for standard and high-powered CB setups. The antenna is built with an 18 gauge copper wire wound around a 5/16 inch durable fiberglass base for strength and consistent signal transmission. The whip is constructed from 17-7 stainless steel with a .100 inch diameter, providing durability and flexibility. The chrome plated 3/8-24 threaded ferrule ensures a secure mount connection and is compatible with standard CB mounts. Each antenna is factory tuned and can be further adjusted in the field by modifying the whip length to achieve optimal SWR levels.
