New Book, Polish release

Will loyalty, friendship and love be enough to get through the hardest days? The heartwarming second part of the "Bear City" trilogy.

The town of Björnstad is home to hard-working, hard-working people who don't expect life to be easy or the world to be fair. No matter what difficulties they face, they are always proud of their hockey team. Therefore, the rumor that the local club may soon be disbanded is a cruel blow to them. What's worse, the current players are moving to the team of the neighboring town of Hed, Björnstad's eternal rival.

A new arrival in town gives the team a chance to reactivate. The team forms around Amat, the fastest player around; Benji, the lone wolf; the diligent Bobo; and Vidar, a born adventurer. They face a huge challenge, especially as the hostility between Björnstad and Hed is growing as the match approaches, and not-so-innocent jokes and unpleasant incidents are becoming more frequent.

When the final goal is scored, one of Björnstad's residents will die, and both communities will be forced to consider whether the game they love can once again become something simple and noble.

The HBO series Bear City was based on the trilogy.

A novel about people – about strength and loyalty to one's community, and what we unconsciously do when we teach our boys how to be men.
